At Another World Media, we believe that the best way to grow in the creative industry is by getting hands-on experience in real-world projects. Work experience isn’t just about shadowing professionals it’s about being trusted with responsibility, developing practical skills, and building confidence in a supportive environment.
Over the years, we’ve welcomed students who are passionate about storytelling, filmmaking, editing, and production. Our goal is always to give them meaningful opportunities to contribute, not just observe. From editing branded content to joining us on live shoots, students get a genuine feel for what it takes to thrive in this industry.
One of our recent students, Ethan, shared his experience with us:

"My experience at Another world media as a student has been
really beneficial and constructive to my journey into the creative
industry. Joey’s professional knowledge and guidance has
really helped me develop my skills and has shown me the
realities of the industry and the hard work that goes into it.
Specifically, Joey’s has helped me develop my editing skills
with real tasks for example he had me edit multiple reels for
Dunelm some of which have gone onto their social media. He
has helped me learn how to interact with clients and helped me
develop my confidence when talking to new people, for
example he brought me on a shoot for two restaurants and had
me interacting with the clients communicating his vison for
their content. The whole experience has really developed my
confidence as a whole, this is due to Joey’s support and
constructive feedback. There isn’t a week that goes by that I
don’t look forward to going to placement because of Joey’s
good nature and ability to create a positive environment. This
placement has not just been a learning experience but has also
been incredibly fun and a just a great experience over all."
